I am working with an incredible variety of talented and fascinating people and all of my projects are born out of passion.

One of my favourite things I have been doing is creating biographies – capturing people’s whole lives in book form so that their stories are preserved to be enjoyed by friends and family. A recent project garnered this response from Mark Warby who, with his brother, commissioned me to create a book about his parents:

“I am pleased to report that having all reviewed the great work, we are all very impressed indeed. We know that you have put a lot of work into it. It shows, in the sense that the finished product is extremely well put together and flows brilliantly. The text captures the voices of M & D beautifully, and comes over as the spoken word.  The length of each section before the voice is switched is very well judged. It is also done to a very high standard as a text.”

The television series Trafalgar emerged from five years of full time research funded by Working Title Television and I have championed and fought for the project for over a decade. At www.trafalgar.tv thousands of people from all over the world have confirmed that they want to experience the greatest true story of love and courage in history. I now host a podcast called Trafalgar Squared and I am an experienced speaker on the subject of Lord Nelson, Emma Hamilton, Trafalgar, The Georgian Navy and The Story of the Trafalgar Way. My novel The Peppered Moth has some of the best reviews you will see anywhere for a comic novel. and sells steadily to an appreciative readership.

Village Idiot Comedy  is now an established brand, bringing regular stand-up shows to both the Cellarhead Tap near Flimwell and the Gun Tap near Lewes with our regular annual show at Horsmonden selling out faster each year! We are also in discussions for a new show at Brenchley Memorial Hall in Kent.

One of several short films written and directed by Adam Preston, The Last Post is a fifteen minute satirical comedy about social media. Starring Ryan Sampson and Mark Heap the film imagines a scenario in which an infantile nerd delivers the eulogy at the funeral of a woman he knew only through social media.  The Last Post was shown at some of the world’s most prestigious film festivals and is represented by Shorts TV, the company that represents all Oscar Winning short films. The Last Post has been broadcast on television all over the world and continues to clock up substantial viewing figures across a variety of platforms.
